Legendary costume designer Pete Menefee shares his story on Showgirls Life

This week’s episode features the legendary costume designer, Pete Menefee. Firstly, he shares about how he transitioned to costume design from dancing. His idea that “designing for cabaret is like learning a new language” is fascinating. Secondly, we talk about his work with Donn Arden—most importantly his designs for Jubilee!

Pete has won Emmys for his designs in Hollywood. Consequently, he shared some fun historical anecdotes about designing for the biggest Hollywood names. He shared his thoughts on the future of topless revues. Intriguing!! Pete is a fantastic storyteller. You’re in for a treat!
