Here is the collection of 30 minute sessions I did this week on this hat. I am glad I saved this task for the snacks because it was really loud and annoying to have the hairdryer going every few seconds.
The good news is that I finished the feather twisting!!
AND I have decided that I may not want to do a backpack with these feathers. The time spent to twist them and prep them to appear fuller, plus the fact that I will not be able to maintain these feathers with traditional steaming (they will untwist, immediately,) is the main reason. I will have to think of a different design shape to go with this hat. Ideas are already forming. ?
